Congratulations on finishing another school year! Thank you for working to make your school a center of evangelization! Thank you for sharing a Catholic understanding of reality with your students.
I am so grateful that my children’s teachers have echoed a Catholic understanding of reality consistent with what we taught in our home. My sophomore daughter attends a DIA collaborating high school, the same one of which my wife is vice president. Three of my kids attended a DIA collaborating college, after graduating from the aforementioned high school, and one of my kids teaches in a different DIA collaborating grade school. Our family is grateful to DIA for bringing us closer to Jesus, his church and to each other.
As our family moves into summer break, our conversations around the neighborhood swimming pool are tremendous. We are sharing the events of our days and sometimes discussing compelling things like the Pope’s Artificial Intelligence encyclical. We are listening to the laughter of my 10 grandkids, and unwinding from another adventurous academic year. I am so grateful to you and all of our DIA collaborating educators for helping me and all our student’s parents in forming solid, faithful, joyful and engaging people, people that we long to spend summer evenings with watching lightening bugs and sipping lemonade.
So, I raise a glass to celebrate you for dedicating your life to setting our kids up for success, by providing them with a robust Catholic understanding of reality, a view of the world that is filled with God’s promises, wisdom and comfort.
