Barb Labotka, facilitator, earned a Masters in Teaching and Learning with a specialization in teaching literacy and language and a second Masters in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Catholic School Leadership from DePaul University. As a principal on the field of play, within the Archdiocese of Chicago, Barb Labotka, M.A, M.Ed., also facilitates live and virtual Mastermind groups.
Why a Mastermind?
The School Leaders Mastermind serves principals from both elementary and secondary level Catholic schools. The Program is designed to meet school leaders in various stages of their professional journey while taking a current and practical approach to delivering ideas and concepts to be put into daily practice by school leaders.

The Mastermind aligns to the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Schools (NSBECS) as well as the Standards for Professional Learning, which serve as the organizing framework for this Program. The standards were developed from the Holy See’s teaching on
Catholic schools as compiled by Archbishop J. Michael Miller, CSB (The Holy See’s Teaching on Catholic Schools, 2006), and from statements by Pope Benedict XVI and the American bishops.

Our Mastermind consists of a series of weekly 60-minute online sessions that include laser coaching, a monthly book study and two monthly online guest expert sessions. The Mastermind will provide you with an immediate coaching and accountability community where everyone is committed to high-levels of personal and professional growth.
