Montrose School | Medfield, MA

An independent school for girls in grades 6-12, inspired by the teachings of the Catholic Church, Montrose School was founded in 1979 and is located in the welcoming community of Medfield, 17 miles southwest of Boston. Montrose School attracts a talented and growing student population from 50 towns and communities.

Montrose seeks a full-time, twelve-month Registrar beginning October 2024. The Registrar role requires refined skills for executive organization, technical acumen for website platforms, data analysis, superior communication skills, and flexibility to meet the evolving needs of a complex and growing institution.

Responsibilities include:
Management of student records, of schedule, and course oversight for middle and upper school
Management of back-end details for school websites (Blackbaud, Canvas, Ravenna, Veracross)
Manage academic space use
Data analysis
Organization, Communication, & Website support for key events
Standardized and AP Test Coordinator
Management of enrollment contracts
Facilitate internal communication through the school calendar & daily bulletin
A compelling candidate will have
a Bachelor’s degree
at least three years of experience in an educational or similar setting
demonstrated excellence in interpersonal skills with various constituencies
demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication
prudence in handling confidential and sensitive information
keen skill in streamlined organizational systems and robust collaboration with colleagues
strong IT skills, understanding and facility of database management (Veracross, Blackbaud, Canvas, Google Suite, Excel etc.)
superior attention to detail and proven time management skills
joy for working in a fast-paced environment
